The future of digital marketing in the metaverse

The metaverse world has been heard a lot lately. And since it is a new world in which the possibilities of creating, socializing and marketing are even more extensive than those of our own world, the role of digital marketing takes on great weight since it must be updated to the new demands of users and updated to all these new technologies that this virtual world can offer us.


What is the metaverse?
To fully understand this new concept that has come into our lives to stay, we must be clear about what “metaverse” really means. This word is an acronym formed by; 'meta', coming from the Greek meaning 'beyond' or 'after', and 'verse', which refers to the universe.

Therefore, we could define it as a universe that is beyond the one we know.

In this way, developers and users own their own data and content, as well as the ability to own and trade with virtual money ( tokens ).

Taking a broader view of this concept and idea, the metaverse refers not only to the virtual world, but to the entire set of multidimensional experiences with the possibility of combining augmented reality, 3D technology and virtual reality.
