As a famous saying goes – “The only certain thing is change” – and this is true with full force for the digital world and Facebook in particular. In addition to changes in the algorithm, they also occur in the purely visual part of the network – in the appearance of business pages. We will “take a look” at the design and point out several advantages.
Page cover layout
You may remember that with the old design, we had to be careful about where we placed the text because the cover photo covered a certain part of the cover. In addition, the placement of the buttons bank data and the business category below took up additional space. With the new design, this problem is gone and we can use the full size of the cover.
We will take a look at Facebook's design and point out several advantages.
You can see for yourself that the advantages of the second option are greater. The dimensions are the familiar ones – 828 pixels wide by 315 pixels high , and for the mobile version – 640 pixels by 360 pixels . Still, think about the placement of your text so that in both options it is readable and does not go beyond the dimensions.
2. Add a call-to-action button
We will take a look at Facebook's design and point out several advantages.
Thanks to the bold new design of the call-to-action button, the new placement has a better chance of people clicking on it, even though it’s still in beta. So if you haven’t set up a button, now is the time to add one. Otherwise, it’ll just look like something is missing from your page.
