How to open a beauty salon
Until 27.01.14, Appendix No. 1 to the sanitary requirements for the areas of premises SanPiN 2.1.2.2631-10 of May 18, 2010 No. 59 was in effect.

Now Appendix No. 1 has been ig database excluded from SanPiN 2.1.2.2631-10 No. 59, but a number of requirements remain:
There must be a separate room or place for disinfection, pre-sterilization cleaning and sterilization of instruments, equipped with a sink with hot and cold water supply;
multi-specialty rooms (cosmetics, pedicure, massage, piercing, tattooing, solarium) should be located in different rooms;
it is possible to combine manicure and pedicure services in one office if one workstation for a manicure-pedicure specialist is organized;
hairdressing salons must have utility, auxiliary and utility rooms;
It is possible to combine the lobby with a cloakroom for visitors and a waiting room, as well as dining rooms with a cloakroom for staff if there are less than 10 workers per shift.
So, to open an economy class beauty salon, you will need a room with an area of at least 50 m2 , and for premium establishments - at least 100 m2 .
Important! If you have found a place where you are ready to open a beauty salon, do not rush to sign a lease agreement right away! First, get a work permit, that is, coordinate everything with the local administration, SES and fire inspection. Otherwise, you will simply spend money on a place that will not suit you in the end.
Only after receiving the appropriate permission from the administration based on your application and the provided package of documents that confirms your right to use the premises, can you proceed to further actions.
You will have to contact authorities such as the SES and Rospozhnadzor several times. First, to obtain a sanitary and epidemiological conclusion on the design documentation, and then on other issues.
Another important piece of advice: don't agree to a short-term lease, because if the owner of the premises finds a worthy replacement for you, he or she may simply kick you out, and these are unplanned expenses that a young business may not be able to afford. In addition, a beauty salon should be in one place for at least three years to become a truly profitable and recognizable establishment.

If you decide to open a beauty salon, you will need a certain package of documents. You should start preparing them immediately after the renovation of the premises. The main document is the technical passport of the selected premises, which must be obtained from the BTI.
To open a beauty salon, you need to register the establishment in:
city or district administration;
SES;
water utility;
fire service;
energy control.
The above mentioned authorities will continue to monitor the operation of your establishment.
If you decide to open a beauty salon, keep in mind that the premises should look presentable not only on the inside - the SES and fire authorities also have requirements for the external condition of the premises. In addition, there are standards that the equipment must meet, namely:
passports, certificates and IDs are required for all consumables, equipment and tools;
all devices used must be permitted by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. Using devices without the appropriate permission is considered a violation of the law;
All technical equipment must have warranty service. Contracts serve as evidence.
For the SES it is necessary to prepare a certain set of documents, which include:
logs of instrument sterilization, general cleaning, operation of bactericidal lamps, and records of disinfectants;
medical records for all masters;
agreement on the removal of garbage, hair, medical waste;
agreement with a laundry service (not required when using disposable linen);
acceptance certificate and ventilation system passport;
an agreement with a medical institution regarding examinations.
You also need to provide certain documents to Rospozhnadzor to open a beauty salon:
personnel briefing log;
documents for fire alarm;
fire escape plan;
order on the appointment of an employee responsible for fire safety;
action plan for employees in case of fire;
fire department's conclusion that the premises meet all requirements.
