What is the main purpose of the new app, Car Life Square app?

We aim to create connections with more customers and support their home life beyond just their car life.



--Please tell us how you came to renew the existing app and what challenges you faced at the time.

Fujimoto: It wasn't that there were any issues with the previous app, but rather that we wanted to develop a customer-oriented app that was more in line with the the benefit of our ios database times, given the rapid evolution of digital technology.
Initially, we were considering leaving the previous app as it was and developing a different app, but we decided to renew it to prevent customer confusion.

Fujimoto: Currently, just under 30% of customers visiting Cosmo are card members.
The main purpose of this app is to build more connections with the remaining 70% of customers. As
payment methods become more diverse, we have not been able to provide discount coupons or suggest products to customers who pay in cash or use affiliated cards based on their purchase history or frequency of visits. By using the app
, we can take an individual approach that is suited to each customer, and since there is no need to register as a member, we thought we could build connections with customers without increasing their burden as much as possible.
