In February 2001, a meeting of 17 leading experts in the field of software development took place in Snowbird, Utah, USA. Among them were such well-known figures as Kent Beck, Martin Fowler, Ward Cunningham, and other influential specialists.
What is the Agile Manifesto and how did it come about?

At the meeting, experts discussed various aspects of software development and tried to find common ideas for creating a new approach. As a result, the specialists agreed on key concepts that formed the basis of the manifesto.
The manifesto formulated four lists of phone data core values and twelve principles of agile development, which describe the entire concept. The Agile Manifesto became the main document, which sets out the main ideas and provisions of the software development methodology.
Values Proclaimed by the Agile Manifesto
The Agile Manifesto highlights four key values:
Team members and their communication matter more than processes and tools .
Teamwork and the ability to communicate effectively are paramount in development. Even the most advanced technologies and methods can be useless without coherence among the development team members.
A functioning product takes precedence over detailed documentation .
While documentation is also very important, in situations where you have to choose between improving the product and describing the process, the priority should be given to improvement. Agile teams record only the most important things, minimizing the amount of documentation in order to focus on creating and improving the product.
Communication with the client takes priority over agreeing on the terms of the contract .
The Agile Manifesto states that it is important not just to negotiate the terms of the contract, but to understand why the customer needs the product and what their expectations are. Throughout the project, it is necessary to hold regular meetings with the client, demonstrate interim results, receive feedback and make changes if necessary.
Willingness to adapt is more important than strictly adhering to the original plan .
In Agile, the team must be flexible and adaptable, as customer requirements and market conditions can change at any time. Processes must be designed so that the project can adapt and continue to work despite changes.
