million tons of grain harvested in Tambov region

According to the operational data of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, 46% of the grain and leguminous crops have been collected from the fields. The gross grain harvest is 2.2 million tons. The yield of grain crops is recorded at almost 45 centners per hectare, which exceeds last year's figures (41.5 centners per hectare). The increase in yield was achieved through the use of modern technologies in crop production.
The largest amount of grain was collected by the farmers of the Zherdevskiy municipal district – 164 thousand tons. In the Uvarovsky and Sampursky municipal districts – over 100 thousand tons of grain.
Harvesting work is proceeding at a high pace. Pea harvesting is at the cryptocurrency database finish line, more than half of winter wheat, winter rye and barley have been harvested. Tambov region plant growers continue to harvest early varieties of potatoes, vegetables, and sugar beets.
