Inspection - used to control the operation of the entire system;
Drop-type — necessary in places with large drops in pipes, when turning the network or when the network level changes due to landscape features. They are used when combining pipelines of different depths into one network;
Rotary. These wells are used in places where pipes turn to shareholder data blockages. They are also often used as inspection wells;
Filtration (filter) wells - are necessary for wastewater treatment. They are installed above the groundwater level;
Accumulative. They are used to accumulate wastewater and are usually installed at the lowest point of the site to ensure the optimal slope of the sewer pipeline.
Durability of products. Reinforced concrete allows wells to withstand the load that occurs due to soil pressure, and its dense structure is not subject to erosion by groundwater;
Concrete wells are applicable in most soils;
The smooth surface of concrete wells prevents debris from clinging to the walls and causing blockages. In addition, concrete is easy to clean, and cleaning does not require special equipment or qualified specialists;
Unlimited service life. Concrete products are famous for their durability even when used in aggressive environments and places with a fairly high level of humidity;
Simplicity and ease of installation and repair. Elements of the prefabricated well are easily mounted on each other. Due to this, during repairs, there is no need to replace the entire structure - it is enough to simply replace or repair the worn-out element;
The inertness of concrete means that it has no effect on water quality.
Precast reinforced concrete wells consist of several elements: wall rings, bottoms, covers and hatches. Road construction involves the use of wells equipped with floor slabs in certain cases. The presence of certain elements in the structure depends on the purpose of the precast well. Technically, these elements are divided into:
Concrete rings. They are through-walled hollow cylindrical elements that serve directly for the formation and laying of the well;
Well covers or, as they are also called, floor slabs. These slabs not only protect water from contamination, but also prevent the danger of a person falling into the well. They have a special opening in their design for installing a hatch;
Advantages of using reinforced concrete as a material for the production of wells:
