Since the establishment of the professional association Community Management Nederland in February 2011, the association has set itself the goal of further professionalizing the market for community managers and representing the interests of its members. Something that, according to the association, is of essential importance, partly due to the strong rise of social media, the adoption of online communities by companies and the associated growing demand for community managers. That is why this article is an appeal!

For this reason, the association calls on all online community managers in the Netherlands to participate in an online survey . The survey will answer questions such as:

How big is the field in the Netherlands?
From which angles are online communities initiated?
What are the tasks and responsibilities of a community manager?
What goals do companies have with online communities?
What investments do companies make in communities and what can a community manager expect in terms of salary?
How does knowledge development take place within the sector and what is needed?
An online community is a group of people who come together on a digital platform around a common task or interest, with the aim of further developing their knowledge and experience in this area and building relationships. An online community manager is someone who takes responsibility for the development, management and success of this community from a professional or personal role.

Although a name and email address are requested, the results will of course be processed and presented completely anonymously. The results of the survey will be presented in a whitepaper, which will of course be published on Frankwatching.
