The crisis will not leave TÜViT unscathed either. Our work is not directly affected by the so-called lockdown, but as a service provider our own success depends to a large extent on our customers also doing well financially. Our customers include hotel chains and car suppliers, for example, whose business models are currently massively affected.

In the company, we have taken a number of health protection measures to protect our own employees, but also those of our customers and viber database partners. As an IT company, we have the option of letting our employees work flexibly from their location, e.g. from home. Nevertheless, it is important to us to be present and accessible for our customers even in the crisis.

This also includes conducting audits remotely where possible. After initial hesitation, our customers are very impressed with how efficiently this works. I have also worked with my employees in other areas to develop creative solutions to take the special circumstances into account.

For me personally, it is important to draw the right conclusions from the crisis. It has become clear, for example, that there is still a lot of catching up to do in many areas when it comes to digitalization. Many companies have sent employees to work from home without much preparation , unfortunately often without adapting their security concepts.
