Disassembling Zyxel USG Lite 60AX

Over time, dust can accumulate and the thermal paste may need to be replaced, so it’s important to know how easy it is to get into the USG Lite 60AX. I only had to remove two screws at the bottom, and then used a pry bar to detach the two vertical pieces. I was then able to see the antennas, and after removing the heat spreaders, the main components. I’ve also included a comparison chart.

Now let's continue the tests and start by testing the throughput of a single client using three different client devices. One is Wi-Fi 6 and two are Wi-Fi 5.

Throughput exceeds expectations: using 160 MHz channel luxembourg telegram data bandwidth, it exceeds 1.7 Gbps in the uplink direction.

It's actually inferior to the ASU TUF-AX4200, which uses the same platform as the UG Lite AX60, so it's not a coincidence.
