Notes on Google Shopping conversions
If you advertise through PPC advertising on Google Shopping, you may have already caught the news. Google is encouraging merchants to enable “conversion annotations,” or notes that highlight a product’s iceland mobile database purchase popularity when displayed in ads. This means that a note may appear directly next to your product’s ad, for example, that it is the best-selling product in its category or that more than XY customers have recently purchased it.
Sharing your purchase data with Google will increase your product visibility. All data must be anonymized beforehand to avoid GDPR issues.
Why is this a useful feature?
By sharing your product purchase data, you can enhance your users’ shopping experience by showcasing top-notch, high-selling products. You’ll also build trust and provide proof that people are buying from you, and there’s nothing to worry about. Ultimately, you’ll encourage more users to buy by making your products stand out.
To see conversion notes for ad-supported products, you must have conversion tracking enabled in Google Merchant Center .
Google has also introduced other new features within Google Shopping, such as displaying order processing times and personalizing the shopping experience . Have you heard about them?
