I'm still in New York in search of news and knowledge. Below is my report on another day at the world's largest business fair.
Follow along:
On Monday, 12/01/15, it was the busiest day so far, I spent a lot of time at the fair, learning about some e-commerce solutions, which was aligned with a talk about startups.
One of them is a solution for price testing. They change prices at different times, testing which one has the highest return, comparing it to the competition and also to exclusive products. They gave an example of testing to identify which one would generate the greatest value for the customer. They started at $629.00, which didn't sell, and then tested $699.00 and $749.00. The highest price was the one that generated the most sales.
Another presented navigation tracking, which stores data on all the buy singapore email list a person has visited on the website to send offers, similar to what some websites already have, but this one offers a time schedule for the customer to visit the store, as well as for the salesperson to be able to select the products that the customer has seen and give them a more personalized experience. A type of behavior analysis, to extend what the customer is like from the virtual to the physical store.
Another solution was Soldsie, which created APIs to integrate with social networks, generating purchase buttons on photos. They commented on the engagement that people have with product photos posted on social networks, saying that 45% of people who comment on product photos buy. If they comment, they are at least interested.
