The division into two sections is necessary for settling solid and viscous substances, the liquid part is poured into the adjacent container and after cooling and filtering is sent either to the septic tank or to the drainage field. The liquid is collected either by gravity through sewer pipes, or relatively clean water is pumped out by a pump into the drainage ditch.

In this sewerage system, there are no active devices that pump wastewater from the bathhouse drain pipe to the storage pit. Most often, this is a plastic tank connected to a drainage system for dispersing water in the ground. If the dacha is located in a remote, remote area, then the bathhouse box is placed at a distance from the house, but necessarily higher up the slope, if there is one. For completely flat areas, the bathhouse box should be raised on piles or mexico mobile database on a columnar foundation. Half a meter of height above the ground makes it possible to take the collection tank almost 10 m away.

The movement of wastewater occurs by spontaneous drainage, therefore, for the normal operation of the sewerage system, three conditions must be met:

The pipes should be located with a slope of at least 5%, if the water is discharged through gutters, then a 3% decrease in the level will be enough. In reality, the slope is made greater, since not entirely clean water is discharged from the bathhouse through a gravity sewer, and often deposits on the walls prevent normal drainage of liquid;
The design of a self-draining sewer should not have "elbows" or deflections in which liquid can collect. Sometimes this happens due to subsidence of the soil, and then there is a risk of blocking the pipes;
Mechanical protection and insulation of pipes is mandatory.
Important! The principle of operation of the self-draining system does not allow the sewer to be laid deep into the ground, usually 40-50 cm, no more. If you drain water from a bathhouse in frost, then in a heat-insulated pipe, hot or even warm water will quickly warm the walls, accordingly, the risk of ice plugs is minimal.
