The plate has a milled part at the end - a slot-groove along the entire side part on one side and a "tenon" on the other side. This method of processing allows two elements to be connected with each other by a simple locking mechanism. After laying, these parts will not separate, move between each other, create cracks and other defects.

Convenient tile sizes:

small – 10x10 cm;
large – 65x65 cm.
Types of modules:

installation - for floor covering;
decorative – for covering a floor already laid with parquet.
Each unit can have an interesting chamfer on the front macedonia mobile database of the edge. It can be beveled, smoothly curved, or concave. It all depends on what style the parquet will be maintained. The ends are usually treated with a white film (it is clearly visible on the locking part of the side panels).

But it should be remembered that chamfering or brushing makes the parquet vulnerable to contamination. Therefore, these methods are best selected for rooms with low traffic and a high degree of cleaning and maintenance.

Unlike piece parquet, all elements of the wooden pattern are firmly glued to the base of the board, so there are no problems with them. But with long-term use and inevitable aging of the natural floor covering, cracks appear between the boards themselves. It can be repaired in two of the most popular ways.

The first method. It is labor-intensive, but guarantees a quality result. The entire floor is completely re-laid. To do this, the boards are separated from the base entirely, not only the veneer or wooden slats, but the plywood with the backing. The parquet glue is completely removed from them and they are re-mounted using fresh mortar. This is advisable to do only if a large number of large cracks or swelling have formed on the parquet.
The second method. It happens that the quality of the installation has not deteriorated over the years, but the parquet itself has become dull and covered with a network of small cracks. Then a restoration method is used. First, the old varnish is removed with a flat grinding machine, and then the wood is treated with sanding. If there are deep cracks, they are filled with compound. Subsequently, the entire floor is sanded again and varnished.
