Dutti would turn in his grave

Post by asimj1 »

According to the foundation charter, the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute (GDI) was to be concerned with "researching ways of international cooperation and preventing future wars". But for years now, the legacy of the Migros founder has degenerated into a marketing research shop with a "trend radar" and hires out speakers who, for a lot of money (from CHF 2,000 upwards per speech), spout irrelevant things on topics such as "brand identity" and similar trivialities.

Oh, and then on April 15th, the "1st Swiss Banking thailand rcs data Summit" will take place in Rüschlikon near Zurich behind the bronze head of Gottlieb Duttweiler, organized by the "Euroforum". In an exclusive round (participation fee CHF 1950.–, excl. VAT), Urs Rohner, designated Chairman of the Board of Directors of CS, Pierin Vincenz, head of Raiffeisen, Martin Scholl, CEO of ZKB and other bankers discuss bank failure, bonus greed and rip-off mentality. No, of course not, they talk about topics such as "banking and financial center strategy in a changed environment".

Reason enough for the German ZDF to film a report there. And to secure the cooperation of the journalist René Zeyer, who does have some specialist expertise as the author of the bestsellers "Bank, Banker, Bankrupt" and "Zaster und Desaster".
