We are sure that at Westnetz.ch we have made the most of what contemporary technology allows and requires. This also applies to the book : since book production hardly costs anything anymore, we happily summarize posts, highlights, analyses and articles about us in one volume.
It was not an easy task for the moderator. When the discussion got out of hand, he tried to bring it back to the topic. He did this consistently. He also asked tricky questions about the media's position (keyword: lying press). In this respect, it was also good that a representative of the "Weltwoche" was invited. When factual issues such as the "lying press" or middle east rcs data specific cover images of the "Weltwoche" are being discussed, a media organization cannot allow only one view to be heard. This mistake was made in Germany. The AfD was deliberately excluded from various discussion rounds. Politicians refused to participate when an AfD representative was scheduled. We have now seen the consequences: the election results speak for themselves.
We do this because it gives a good snapshot of a dynamic district. We do this because it offers some lessons for similar projects and for the digital transformation of the media. We do this because it is a message in a bottle, because soon progress will have overtaken many things and from the future our present will seem strange and historical.
