The jug goes to the well until it breaks

Post by asimj1 »

Those who put their foot in it usually have to pay dearly for it. It can sometimes cost them their job.

Most of the time, the faux pas are unintentional. When Donald Trump made verbal outbursts, the public became aware that he was deliberately provoking people. A surprising phenomenon occurred: instead of suffering a loss of image, the controversial presidential candidate benefited from it.

The more slip-ups he made, the more points he scored. Insults japan rcs data and unfiltered statements inspired the "enfant terrible". Perhaps many appreciated the unvarnished incorrectness as a counter-reaction to the language police of the politically correct.

Is it a recipe for success? But suddenly the tide turned. Trump had not realized that he had overstepped the mark. Two serious missteps triggered a wave of outrage - even from within his own ranks. It was mainly Trump's attack on the parents of a Muslim US soldier who died in Iraq. A no-go for the Americans.

Then came the heartless expulsion of a screaming baby during his speech. This was even worse received by the media than all of his wife's faux pas, which were also explored with relish (accusations of plagiarism, a fake CV and her employment as an "illegal worker").

Anyone who a few weeks ago began to doubt the truth of the saying "The pitcher goes to the well until it breaks" can now hope again. It does go to the well until it breaks.
