Use every opportunity when you are in contact with your potential newsletter recipient, e.g. when placing an order - whether online, by phone or in the store, and ask in person. You are also allowed to ask for consent to receive your newsletter by post, e.g. with competition postcards. You can also make visitors to your website aware of your newsletter offer using pop-ups, push messages or sticky layers.
