1.2 Differences from SSP

Along with DSP, another term you will almost always hear about is SSP.



It is an abbreviation for "Supply-Side-Plattform" and is a platform for maximizing the advertising effectiveness of the supply side (i.e. publishers and media).



This is a system that automatically selects and delivers the ad with the highest unit price from the connected DSPs and ad networks.


In other words, a DSP is a platform for those who deliver ads (advertisers), while an SSP is the opposite, a platform for those who receive ads (media), and ads are exchanged between the two.
