Offline SEO exists. In fact, a good offline SEO strategy can yield better results than any other content campaign.

If you are interested in organic positioning, you have probably read about the positioning factors that influence the results in the SERPs. Without going into the different articles that exist on the subject, what is clear is that not all factors have the same influence.
