What is a Lead Magnet

Post by asimd21 »

Today I present to you the dumbest question I have ever been asked in my life:

«Do you want to get more leads?»

I can't imagine anyone with an online business saying something like:

"Oh, no, not really. I'm not interested in having more subscribers or potential customers."

Of course I want to!

And that's why I have a really job seekers data nice Lead Magnet on my home page that helps me increase my number of subscribers and, at the same time, attract potential customers .

So, as I am 200% sure that you also want to get more leads (I'm going to save you the annoying question ?), I have prepared this post in which I explain:

What is a Lead Magnet and why it is so important to create one.
The different types that exist.
4 keys to creating a Lead Magnet that converts your visitors into clients.
Ready to be a subscriber magnet? Let's get started.

What is a Lead Magnet?
Marching a basic definition:

A Lead Magnet (LM, for friends) is free, quality content that you offer to your visitors in exchange for their contact information.

As the name suggests, this is a lead magnet (you know, users who become part of your database and automatically become potential customers).

This is one of the most important factors at a strategic level within a sales funnel , so you must ensure that it is aligned with the rest of the elements of the funnel .

That is, if your lead magnet is an ebook on digital marketing, you cannot sell a course on organic cooking (common sense prevails).

The content you offer must be consistent with the products or services you sell.

For example, look at the case of my lead magnet (you can find it on my home page ):

Every visitor who subscribes to my blog can download a free template to design their own sales email.
Right after subscribing and receiving the LM, I make a very powerful special offer (what is called an OTO, One Time Offer ), of an infoproduct where I explain in depth how the entire sequence of emails in a sales funnel should be .
In this way, the visitor becomes a lead, and ends up becoming a client.
Where is the key?

The person who subscribes has shown interest in learning how to create a sales email, so writing the rest of the emails in the sequence will also interest them.

LM and offer go online.
