Do you know how long a viewer can hold their attention without getting distracted? There are different studies that put it at 8 seconds ! So our purpose and our message must be really good and conveyed in a short time . That doesn't mean that our video marketing has to be limited to that time, not at all, but if we are able to capture attention, surprise, attract in those first 8 seconds, they will stay until the end.
But not a 10-minute short film.
It is advisable to make several versions. One of a chief vp sales marketing officers email list few seconds to use as bait or as an appetizer for social networks; one minute as a summary; and an extended version of less than 3 minutes. In that time at most you should be able to convey your message and even reinforce it.
4. The important thing, at the beginning
I could talk to you about using storytelling . Telling a story makes audiovisual content more consumable. Who doesn't like a tale or a story? But this is a task that you should leave in the hands of a good communication and marketing agency that speaks the audiovisual language and is able to translate your ideas into good storytelling .
What you should keep in mind is that the important things should always be at the beginning. As in a news piece: the headline, subheadline and first paragraph should contain the most basic information and the clearest message. You can and should reinforce it later, but keep in mind that the beginning and the end are the most important.
What's good and short is twice as good
