Contributing to conversions

If you open "Multi-Channel → Assisted Conversions," you can see how much each channel contributed to the conversion.


By opening "Multi-Channel → Conversion Path," you can see the channels that were used to reach the conversion.

Channels where contact occurred

The channel groupings displayed in the conversion report like this are called chief and vp of training email list MCF channel groups.
They are almost the same groupings as the default channel groups in the acquisition report.
However, there is a difference in how the two count conversions.

In non-Multi-Channel Funnels reports (such as the Acquisition report mentioned above), if a session with direct referrals (using a bookmark, manually entering a URL, etc.) leads to a conversion, any non-direct referrals prior to that session will be counted.
On the other hand, Multi-Channel Funnels reports count conversions from direct referrals as "Direct."
