A stone house, squeezed between huge boulders, is nestled on a deserted hill on the outskirts of the small Portuguese town of Fafe, Braga district. It fits into the surrounding landscape so well that at first it is difficult to understand that this is not just a pile of large stones, but a residential building.

The unusual building was built in 1973 and, apparently, the inspiration for such an original structure to its author, Victor Rodriguez, was the once popular cartoon series about the primitive Flintstone family. Incidentally, the Portuguese house, squeezed between giant boulders, is also known as the "Flintstone House".

Due to its secluded location, for a long time, and its owners could fully enjoy the peace and quiet of the local nature. However, immediately after its discovery, curious tourists began to flock to the Flintstone House, since then it has become a popular local attraction, and the owners, tired of close attention, were forced to move.

The house, squeezed between the cobblestones, has a fireplace, a sturdy internal staircase, a small stone pool and other attributes of an ordinary residential building. The crooked windows and the chimney special database out of the roof look funny - all this gives the house a certain comicality. Despite the fact that the Flintstone House is completely suitable for habitation, no one has lived here for a long time.
