Anodic oxide films obtained using the hard anodizing

Post by zihadhosenjm40 »

Electrolyte have a “cold” metallic luster and, depending on the aluminum alloy, have different colors. On pure aluminum, with a process duration of up to 30 minutes, almost colorless films are formed, on technical aluminum with impurities, the films have a light golden color, on deformable aluminum alloys AMg2 and AMg2s, light golden coatings with a greenish tint are obtained, on magnesiums of the AMg6 type, black oxide films are formed, on D1T and D16T alloys, oxide films have a chinese overseas america data color, on unhardened alloys, such as B95, the color of the anodic coating varies from gray-blue to blue-black.

ALLOY BRAND COLOR OF ANODIC OXIDE COATING
A99, A97, A95, A5, A0 Light gray, greenish-golden
AMr3, AMr5, AMr6, AMc, From grey to grey-black
B95 From grey-blue to blue-black
AМr2, AМr2c From greenish-golden to brownish-golden
D1, D16 From blue-gray to green-gray
AL2, AL9, AL11 From light grey to dark grey
The standard thickness of hard anodic films used as an electrical insulating coating is 20-40 μm; to obtain a wear-resistant coating that works on friction, the thickness of the anodic films is 40-70 μm; to obtain a heat-insulating coating layer, the recommended thickness of the anodic films is within 100-120 μm.
Stages of the technological process:
CHEMICAL DEGREASING → ETCHING → BRIGHTENING → HARD ANODIZING* → PAINTING (if necessary) → SEALING
*To obtain a shiny anodized surface, after chemical degreasing and brightening, an electrochemical polishing stage is carried out (the etching stage is not carried out)

Specific consumption rate of reagents for anodizing 1 square meter: reagent “OXIDANT-T100” – 4-5 g; reagent “ANODIC OXIDANT” – 1.2-1.4 g. Using the “HARD ANODIZING OF ALUMINUM” kit for 15 liters, it is possible to anodize parts with an area of about 18 square meters.
