Thus, although not necessarily dealing with AI, awareness of cyber risks is a very present subject on the various stands, whether through public bodies or private actors.
Let's listen to the lectures!
Beyond the stands, the InCyber Forum is also punctuated by a large number of conferences, events and other round tables.
In line with this year's main theme, several plenary sessions related to AI are proposed. Among them, we mentionthe session “Reinventing Cybersecurity in the Age of AI” dealing with the impact and protection of AI in the field of cybersecurity, or the session “AI in search of trust”, focusing on the ethics of AI.
Round tables to discuss and deepen reflection on certain subjects are also hosted. These subjects include current topics: the fight against cybercrime, cyber risk management, data security and digital transformation, security and stability of cyberspace, digital sovereignty and finally the theme of operational security .
All these events aim to make people think about different themes (industry, OSINT, WEB3, etc.),
while keeping in mind the notions of cybersecurity and digital trust . One of the aims of the show is to contribute to the construction of a safer digital space. This contribution involves reflection, but also awareness-raising: knowing and applying good practices, having good cyber hygiene or knowing how to use tools to improve processes and daily techniques for individuals or entities...
It is in this context that we attended various conferences, talks and even demonstrations:
“Why Current Cyber Awareness Activities Are Usually Fake and How AI Can Help” by Palo STACHO of Cyberdise. This presentation shows where we can improve our current awareness campaigns, how to target audiences more precisely , and how to use AI to be more relevant.
"How to detect and clean suspicious MS Office documents?" by Marion GUTHMULLER from Quarkslab. This talk raises awareness of the fact that MS Office documents are vectors of infection and compromise (often seen as legitimate in the eyes of antiviruses), and tells us how to protect ourselves from them (by presenting their threat detection and analysis platform: QFlow);
This talk analyzes real cases of mobile phone spying and raises awareness about the implications singapore telegram data for privacy, corporate and state security.
Klee Group at the InCyber Forum 2024
Klee Group presented 3 conferences:
"CyberTrust News: Live from the editorial office" by David SZNITEN (head of the cybersecurity division), Adrien AGNEL and Pierre-Yves GUERDER (both cybersecurity consultants). This technical demonstration was played 3 times within the "hacking lab". It is a futuristic TV news program in which AI is very commonly used, for all types of purposes. In this one, the emphasis is placed on the use of AI and its flaws: by integrating the concepts of "prompt injection" (a technique aimed at bypassing the security of generative AI) or "deep fake" (in our case, using an AI to physically resemble a CEO to carry out a CEO scam attack).
"Digital Crime with Premeditation: Inside the Mind of a Hacker" by David SZNITEN and Adrien AGNEL from Klee Group. This technical demonstration traces the history of a cyberattack by explaining the entire attack process, and by extension, all the IT security flaws related to the targeted company. The idea behind this demonstration is not only to raise awareness, but also to provide a credible scenario with real tools used by attackers or red teamers.
“Secure your production with GitLab!” with Chloé CARTRON (Solutions Architect at Gitlab), Thibault INGARGIOLA (technical architect) and David SZNITEN.
