Custom Audience
When creating a custom audience, we have multiple options, depending on the audience you want to target with your ads.

Instagram Ads - Custom Audience
These audiences, as I mentioned before, already know your business or have visited your website, are already your clients (you upload a client file), have interacted with you on Instagram, etc.

Next, you need to choose the type of audience that best suits your strategy to achieve your goal.

Let's say, for example, that you want to show your ads to people who have interacted with your posts or ads.

You would choose the “ Instagram profile for businesses ” option, and once there, the following screen will open where by clicking on the drop-down menu you have several options, including the option of people who have interacted with a post or ad.

Another example of a custom audience that I always recommend you have created is people who have visited your website (or wherever you have your Facebook pixel installed) or the sales page of your website.

In this case, the maximum number of days you can set is the last 180 days and the minimum is 1 day.

To create this type of audience, we have to tell Facebook where we want to get the source audience from, that is, to choose the traffic from our website or people who follow us on this social network or on Instagram.

Then you will look for similar patterns or behaviors of these people to find more audiences that look like them.

This is a type of audience that works very well, especially when the source audience is large enough for Facebook to find lookalikes.

In fact, it recommends that your source audience be larger than 100 people , although the larger the better.

Before you create this type of audience, you need to have created a custom audience so you can tell Facebook to create a lookalike audience for you.

You can add multiple countries here but make sure you have the maximum source audience in those locations.

If you enter a country where no one from your source audience is located, the platform will not be able to find you a similar audience.
